What Is There To Explore?

Located on a picturesque organic farm, relaxing strolls around the property are a guest favorite, not to mention the stunning waterfalls just a short drive away. There are also a variety of outdoor and cultural activities, including visits to local wineries, expert-led hikes, and historical excursions such as Olana State Historic Site and the FDR Presidential Library & Museum.

All activities have a strict 72 hour cancellation policy and will be charged upon check-in. Please note that gratuity for your guide is not included. All quotes are subject to change.

Love Apple Farm

Pick your very own apples and pears from this sprawling farm, where there is also a great petting zoo for the kids. You can even purchase upstate products such as apple butter, jams, and a fantastic selection of vegetables to take back with you (and don’t forget the homemade apple spice donuts made fresh daily).

With more than 60 engines on exhibit, there is over 50,000 sq. ft. and 300 years of firefighting history to be explored.

Tivoli Sailing

Take in the stunning Hudson River views aboard a sailboat. The captain pulls anchors away from either Rhinecliff or Kingston. Longer charters generally sail 2.5 to 3 hours and then stop somewhere and sail back.  They’ll usually go to to the Saugerties Lighthouse and Saugerties Steamboat Co. for drinks if everyone’s on board.

 

Book a 29 ft. charter for up to six people, or a 44 ft. charter for up to 12 people.

 

Schedule: All charters are weather dependent and private and can be booked from two to eight hours.

 

Tip: Don’t forget to eat at Ole Savannah in Kingston either before or after your charter. They’re a southern BBQ rib joint that has the best vegetarian, seafood, gluten-free, and vegan meals on the Roundout (the waterfront area).

Tickle your palette at local distilleries, wineries, and breweries, or customize your tour to wherever your taste buds guide you. The tour includes pick-up and drop-off, a tasting at each destination, a tour of the facilities (when available), and the opportunity to chat with the knowledgeable distillery, winery or brewery staff, and run from approximately 1:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

 

Cultural Tour

How Do You Get Here?

Collective Hudson Valley is located just two hours from New York City, outside the historical town of Hudson, NY. We’re easily accessible from many regional airports, as well as all New York City airports. We’re also just 8 miles from the Hudson Amtrak Station for access to and from New York City.

We recommend renting a car so you’ll be able to explore everything the area has to offer but our concierge team is also happy to recommend other transportation.

 

Once you arrive, our team will meet you in the parking area to guide you to your tent. It’s about a 5-minute walk so wear comfortable footwear. We’ll transport your luggage to your room for you.

Prices & Policies

The rates for our accommodations vary based on date and availability. Please check our calendar for specific nightly pricing and book early to ensure you get the best rate of the season. Two- and three-night minimums may apply to weekend and holiday bookings.    

Rates

Prices range $450 – $700. We recommend booking early so you can be sure to get the best rate possible.

 

The rate includes:

  • Summit Tent accommodations for two guests
  • Full daily breakfast featuring local, seasonal Hudson Valley dishes
  • Coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and filtered water in your tent and refreshed throughout the day, as well as complimentary granola
  • Luxury bath amenities
  • Nightly campfire with gourmet s’mores and treats
  • Personal concierge services to assist with recommending activities prior to and during your stay
  • Free parking

Policies

  • At time of booking, you will be asked for the number of guests in your party. Each tent accommodates up to 2 adults.
  • A rollaway bed may be added to a Summit Tent at an additional cost of $100.
  • Children under 6 may sleep in the king bed with their parents at no additional cost.
  • Any additional adults will require another tent reservation.
  • We love pets, and welcome dogs 50 lbs. or less on-property and in your tent. Please note, dogs must be leashed when they’re not in the tent, and for safety reasons, cannot be left unattended in the tent at any point.
  • We do not sell, distribute, or pour any alcohol at Collective Hudson Valley. Guests may not drink alcohol in any public spaces while on property at Collective Hudson Valley.
  • THE COLLECTIVE GOLDEN RULE: At Collective Retreats, we welcome anyone who seeks an escape and wants to reconnect with nature, community, and themselves. We treat every guest like family, with respect, appreciation, and kindness. Our retreats foster a space for every guest to feel safe and at home during the entirety of their stay.
