Wine Classes

Craft Beverage & Dining · Ages 21+ · Relaxation

Join our Food and Beverage Director, Gemma Richardson, for a class on five different world wines. Themes vary weekly. Gemma has an Advanced certificate with the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET Level 3) and hails from the Michelin-starred Italian restaurant Del Posto in NYC.

Her interest in wine comes from the stories behind each glass—from the history to the geography and the technique that was applied to make wine with depth. Tasting is subjective, but a good story speaks to many.

Local cheese and charcuterie will accompany.

Seed to Table Tour with Liberty Farms

$ · Family Friendly · Craft Beverage & Dining · Relaxation

Join Farmer Trevi on a 2-3 hour interactive tour of a working organic farm. See organically and pasture-raised animals, learn about the seeding process, and stroll through our lush garden, sampling some flavorful crops as we go. If you’re interested in learning about how a farm works and understanding where your food comes from, this is the perfect experience.

Learn about the mini ecosystem that is Liberty Farms and the interaction between the plants, animals, and human that produces the flavorful splendor.

On your tour, you’ll also visit the seedling house to explore the different soil types and the germination process. If you’re so inclined, get your hands a little dirty and seed your own flat of flowers or vegetables that will eventually sprout and grow.

Afterwards, experience how Liberty Farms transplants small seedlings as they grow to harvesting size and the farm equipment that helps. Curious about how farmers know when it’s a good time to harvest? They’ll cover that too.

End your tour with a visit to the Liberty Farms farm stand and see what’s in stock.
