Casa TO is an architectural oasis that invites guests to contemplate the beauty of nature through light, sound and perspective
Casa TO was born with the intention of generating a visually impactful space of reflection through raw materiality and forms integrated into the nature of the area; respecting the environment and creating the first design hotel in the area.
Casa TO stands for Casa Templo Oaxaqueño, a home and temple from which to ponder. It crystalizes contemplative hospitality. Envisioned by architect Ludwig Godefroy, the templo was designed with a north star of simplicity and elegance, bringing together tradition and the avant-garde in a unique structure embraced by peaceful, natural surroundings.
Located in the La Punta Zicatela, the southernmost point of Puerto Escondido and the so-called “national capital of surfing,” Casa TO is in the midst of the regional flourishing of design, gastronomy, and culture. Situated in front of the Punta Zicatela Ecological Community, it invites green views, natural sounds and tranquility a stone’s throw from a vibrant local scene.
Nine suites capture the zeitgeist of contemporary aesthetics, complemented by furniture that extols the work of Mexican artisans and ateliers. Some of the suites boast independent gardens, while a small handful have private terraces with outdoor tubs.
