We hand select the best activities the area has to offer and can make recommendations based on your interests.

Moonlight Basin Club and Ulery's Lake

Included in your Resort Fee is access to the members-only Moonlight Basin Club, which includes use of the Moonlight Basin pool, hot tub, fitness center, and a nearby hiking and biking trail network. Our guests also have access to Ulery’s Lake, a sandy swimming beach and dock stocked with canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards available for rent.

 

Tip: Rent a canoe, kayak, or paddleboard in the evening for stunning pre-dusk views.

Collective Yellowstone is an unforgettable place for a wedding, family reunion, corporate retreat and everything in between. Our Events Team has experience with small and large-scale celebrations and can help you design your perfect experience.

How Do You Get Here?

Collective Yellowstone is located in the exclusive Moonlight Basin community, nine miles from Big Sky Town Center. We’re about a 1-hour drive on Hwy 191 from both Bozeman and Yellowstone Airports, with a scenic pass through the vast Gallatin Canyon.

We recommend renting a car with 4WD, so you’ll be able to explore the area as thoroughly as you’d like. However, our concierge can also assist in arranging transportation for certain activities and day trips to Yellowstone National Park.

 

Once you arrive, our team will meet you in the parking area to guide you to your tent. It’s about a 5-minute walk so wear comfortable footwear. We’ll transport your luggage to your room for you.

Prices & Policies

The rates for our accommodations vary based on date and availability. Please check our calendar for specific nightly pricing and book early to ensure you get the best rate of the season. Two- and three-night minimums may apply to weekend and holiday bookings.

Rates

Prices range $450 – $700. We recommend booking early so you can be sure to get the best rate possible.

 

The rate includes:

  • Summit Tent accommodations for two guests
  • Full daily breakfast featuring local, seasonal Montana dishes
  • Coffee, refreshments, and in-room bottled water, in your tent and refreshed throughout the day
  • Luxury bath amenities
  • Nightly campfire with gourmet s’mores and treats
  • Personal concierge services to assist with recommending activities prior to and during your stay
  • Moonlight Basin Club access to members-only Ulery’s Lake,18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, pool, hot tub, fitness center and family game room (included in the resort fee for Collective Yellowstone, charged upon check in – flat fee of $50/tent for 1-2 nights or $100/tent for 3 or more nights)
  • Free parking

Policies

  • At time of booking, you will be asked for the number of guests in your party. Each tent accommodates up to 2 adults.
  • A rollaway bed may be added to a Summit Tent at an additional cost of $100. 
  • Children under 6 may sleep in the king bed with their parents at no additional cost.
  • Any additional adults will require another tent reservation.
  • We love pets, and welcome them on-property and in your tent. (Well behaved and leashed, please.)
  • We do not sell, distribute, or pour any alcohol at Collective Yellowstone. Guests may not drink alcohol in any public spaces while on property at Collective Yellowstone.
  • Each tent will include Collective Yellowstone’s safety and guest guidelines.
  • THE COLLECTIVE GOLDEN RULE: At Collective Retreats, we welcome anyone who seeks an escape and wants to reconnect with nature, community, and themselves. We treat every guest like family, with respect, appreciation, and kindness. Our retreats foster a space for every guest to feel safe and at home during the entirety of their stay. Should the Collective Golden Rule be compromised, we reserve the right to refuse continued service to any guest at any time.
