Tara K.

Culture Captain

Growing up in a small town in Indiana, Tara always dreamed about far off places and traveling the world. At a young age, she quickly found her love for exploring and offering exemplary service to others through various jobs near home. She translated this passion into pursuing a Hospitality and Tourism Management degree from Purdue University. During that time, she had the unique opportunity to work at the London Heathrow Airport during the 2012 Olympics, where she found that city life was much more her style. After graduation (and backpacking Europe for many weeks), she decided to head west for a constant view of the Rocky Mountains instead of Indiana corn. Tara furthered her hospitality experience as the Madame of Hospitality at Hostel Fish in the heart of downtown Denver. She thoroughly enjoys making all travelers feel right at home.

Animal I Most Identify With:

Favorite Collective Retreats Spot:

Anywhere Chef William is cooking. Tara's hope is that everyone gets to try his amazing cuisine and homemade s'mores!

Travel Ritual:

Learn basic phrases in the native language. One of Tara's personal goals is to be able to say "May I have the wine list?" in over 10 languages.
