Head Chef, Collective Yellowstone and Collective Hill Country
Originally from Houston, Stef pursued an emergency medical degree before realizing her true passion for culinary arts. Stef worked with some of the most well renowned chefs in Houston and Texas Hill Country in many different types of venues from organic food trucks to restaurants and catering. Stef’s love of the outdoors drove her to learn more about where the food she was cooking came from by getting to know the hard working farmers in the region surrounding San Marcos. She fell in love with farm to table dining and enjoyed resourcing local produce as her culinary career found its way into the hospitality industry. Stef has now found her dream job working at Collective Retreats, moving between Collective Hill Country in the winter and Collective Yellowstone in the summer.

I love seeing the sunrise over the majestic hills at Collective Hill Country and the amazing trees along side the river.
I enjoy testing out the local culinary scene by talking to the locals and taking the road less traveled. It's all about the journey!
