Kate Fitzpatrick

Vice President, Development

After graduating with a degree in art history from Middlebury College, Kate gave up her plans of becoming a ski bum in Jackson Hole when she landed a dream job in the legal office of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Adjusting both to city living and the law, she received a degree from Brooklyn Law School and worked at a firm advising non-profits before dipping her toe in the startup world as General Counsel and Director of Operations for a digital consulting firm. Kate went on to work for Tough Mudder and manage their community development and market expansion. Happy to be living back in the mountains, she moved to Denver for Collective Retreats and leads our new property development, serving as the link between our company headquarters and new property partners.

Travel Ritual:

When given the choice, I always take the scenic option—whether that means a winding drive, a ferry boat, or a horseback ride.
