Getting to Collective Governor's Island



Collective Governors Island is accessible via ferry

(8 minutes from Lower Manhattan and 5 minutes from Brooklyn Bridge Park)





We offer private boat transfers for those who can't make the last scheduled ferry, or prefer a private ride.

Governors Island is a car-free environment best explored by foot or bicycle.

Local airports include Newark International, LaGuardia, and JFK.
Take public transportation or taxi to the 10 South Street Ferry Terminal or Pier 6 at Brooklyn Bridge Park.
Then take the Governors Island Ferry.

Governors Island is only accessible via ferry or Collective Retreats private boat transfer.

 

Manhattan ferries run daily: 10 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. (Mondays – Fridays), and 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (Saturdays & Sundays). Link to schedule.

* Once you get to Governors Island, it’s about a 10-minute walk (half a mile) from the ferry to the retreat, so wear comfortable footwear. Please check in at the reception desk at Three Peaks to be directed to your tent.
