Kate Waitzkin is a yoga and meditation teacher whose passion lies in sharing and spreading the teachings of yoga as a way to explore, heal, and deeply reconnect with our bodies, minds, and spirits. Through this practice, we begin to more fully awaken to our daily experiences, our internal guide, and our highest possibilities.

Kate’s teaching is influenced by several yoga traditions and a number of distinguished teachers and mentors with whom she has studied. She is recognized for her accessible and potent approach to guided meditation and for creating fluid, rhythmic vinyasa classes with a thoughtful blend of breath-centered flow, inspired sequencing, and purposeful moments of pause and reflection.

Kate created and leads Sunday Ritual, now The Wanderlust Ritual—a monthly yoga, meditation, and community-centered experience. Her guided meditations are featured on the Yoga Wake Up app and her yoga tutorials are featured regularly on CamilleStyles.com.

Kate has taught yoga and meditation since 2005 and has lead teacher training programs for nearly a decade at Wanderlust Yoga Austin and a number of other studios. Through her own devoted studentship and experience, she brings a deep respect for the teachings of yoga as a way of life and offers a steady, nurturing support for the work and transformation of students on their own unique paths.
